To begin the preparation I will speak to you over the phone, allowing me to gain an understanding of your school and your current self-assessment of your readiness for inspection. We will identify policies to be analysed and any specific areas you would like me to focus on. If you would like a more in-depth service, we will arrange a date for me to visit your school.
Detailed Preparation
After completing the consultation I will provide a written report on each document submitted. Following a school visit, you will receive personalised advice to help ensure that the implementation of policies is evident during a future inspection.

About Karen Williams
Karen Williams, the founder of Karen Williams Education Consultancy, has more than 30 years of experience in education. She is able to offer advice on preparing for inspection as well as how to improve your school before, in between, and after inspections. Karen trained at Homerton College, Cambridge University, and spent the majority of her teaching career in independent schools, including 15 years as a head teacher. Her experience covers a range of contexts, including single-sex and co-ed schools, large schools and small. This, combined with her ability to analyse situations and get to 'the heart' of a school, enables her to tailor bespoke services for every school, offering a personal, positive and rigorous analysis of your school and its needs.
